We offer laser tattoo removal with Quanta Q-Plus EVO. No other series of lasers removes more colours of tattoo.
At Cornwall Laser Specialists, we use laser technology to target ink and pigmentation, which your body then metabolizes and disposes of through its immune system. With the advanced Quanta machine and Kayleigh’s extensive experience, our clients achieve outstanding results. Our clinic in Truro serves numerous satisfied clients attesting to the quality of our treatments.
The number of sessions required for laser tattoo removal depends on the tattoo’s color, density, and location on the body. Before beginning treatment, you will have a consultation at our Truro clinic. During this consultation, we will determine the best approach for your tattoo removal or fading journey and conduct a patch test to ensure suitability.
Treatment varies for each client based on the age, size, and type of tattoo, as well as skin type and the depth of the tattoo pigment.
Prices start from £60, with quotations based on the size, color, and shading of the tattoo.
Your Consultation:
During your consultation we will discuss your medical history and your Laser Specialist will make sure treatment is right for you. After your consultation and any questions you have are answered you will be given a small test patch, you must then wait 1 week to ensure you are suitable for the treatment. Consultations cost £15 and treatment starts at £60 and range up to £155 per session.
How Long Does Treatment Take?:
Treatment duration depends on the size of the tattoo being treated. Treatment can be as short as a few minutes right up to 45 minutes. The cut off time for one session at The Laser Room Truro is 45 minutes due to your skin having to rest, larger areas can be split up to make the treatment more comfortable. Please note large areas such as a full arm sleeve will be split in to at least 2 sessions and each large session costs £155.
What Should I Expect?:
The treatment itself is a series of laser pulses that are fired rapidly next to each other in a pattern along the tattoo. The skin will frost which means it will turn white in colour, this is a normal reaction and the frosting will go in within 40 minutes. You can expect any of the following post treatment reactions:
Swelling, blood spots, bruising, redness, blistering, and scabbing - it is important to keep the area clean and treat it like a wound. Ointments can be used such as bepanthen. Blistering is a normal and common healing process.
All clients are thoroughly ran through the healing process and instructed on how to look after the treatment area, this is important and you must follow the instructions and always contact the clinic immediately if you think something is wrong.
Treatment can have a minimum of 6 week intervals.
